The Group on ageing and stress is a Unit of research on Cellular Biology, University of Namur, Belgium. It is a laboratory of cellular and molecular biology focusing on interactions between cellular stress and aging in in vitro conditions and in in vivo models. The group studies these interactions at various levels: morphology, histochemistry, transcriptomics, proteomics, gene expression, etc. It was the group which coined the concept of stress-induced premature senescence and molecular scars of stress.
