Postdevelopmental RNAi kockdown of prx-5 in the enhanced RNAi strain eri-1(mg366) increases mean lifespan by 30% [17411345]. Knockdown of prx-5 initiated on the first day of adulthood increases mean and maximum lifespan by 8% (6%!) and 11% respectively. prx-5 knockdown from hatching has no effect on lifespan or slightly shortened lifespan [22509016].
