Deletion of RPS11A increases mean replicative lifespan by 30% in alpha strain [18340043; 18423200] and by 28% in the ORF collection, but non-significantly decreases mean replicative lifespan by 7% in the remade strain [22377630]. Its deletion also increases mean chronological lifespan by 35 - 48% (34, 36, 48) in diploid cells [21447998].
